Indexx participated in an On-the-Job Training Program with Karen Carne's special education class from Riverside High School. This type of program is designed to help those who face challenges in adapting important life skills such as communication and job related tasks. Indexx was more than happy to participate in such an important effort.
"It's nice to know that this will give them options. Each kid has different abilities," said Jordan Finn, president of Indexx.
The students visited Indexx once a week, in pairs with each student being accompanied by a teacher aide. They were given opportunities to learn new skill sets and complete specific tasks that were assigned to them.
