Have a rough idea of what you want, but not sure how to accomplish it? Our experts have you covered! Our design team is composed of experienced designers, specializing in design for print production.

Color Matching & Color Correcting

Color is one of the most important aspects of printing, and we do our absolute best to ensure your brand colors are preserved throughout the whole process. If needed, we can even perform color correction to your files to ensure the color matches brand colors, fabric swatches, and more.

Prepress & Print Setup

In addition to our custom design services, our team can process files created by your designers. We'll take care of everything from basic preflight to in depth diagnostics to make sure your projects print perfectly every time.

Do you already have Print Ready files?

Our prepress team delivers quality offset printing services. We prefer Adobe Acrobat print-ready PDF files but in some cases might require packaged Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe Illustrator files.

Prepress 101

Getting ready to send us your files? Setting up your print files properly can seem overwhelming, and that’s why we’re here to make it as stress-free as possible.

Abiding by the following ensures that each job flows as seamlessly as possible through our proofing process:

Images

300 DPI/PPI resolution
Convert images to CMYK
Images are large enough to avoid pixelation
Vector files are best for logos, icons, and graphics
Images/graphics packaged with file or embedded

Fonts

Proofread your work - Indexx is not responsible for any spelling or grammar errors
Package fonts with the file OR convert text to outlines
Check font sizes, styles, and justification for readability

Document

0.125 or 1/8” bleed
0.5 - 1” margins
Document size is correct
Settings are correct for any cuts & folds, or perforation

Colors

Color swatches are CMYK (not RGB)
If Pantone swatches are used, the color number is correct.
All blacks are set to Black (0, 0, 0, 100%) not Registration (100%, 100%, 100%, 100%). If a rich black is requested, please provide the color build, or we will build to our standard.
