The Proofing process for Wide Format projects is a bit different every time due to the variables with materials and finished sizes. To ensure that our customers get a final project that they can show off, we've developed a more detailed "Visual Proof" for wide format projects. These proofs confirm the finished size, material type, finishing instructions, cut lines, and more.

WIDE FORMAT CUTTING

One of the benefits of a flatbed digital cutter is the versatility of being able to create anything you need. In addition to creating wide-format signage we can also use this equipment to create custom die-cut shapes without the added expense of purchasing a steel die. Anything printed on our offset or digital presses can be transformed into custom cutouts, three-dimensional items like boxes, or even custom shapes.

More on color calibration:

To avoid or decrease the chances of color discrepancies on your project, consider these design tips:

Design in a CMYK color space.
Calibrate your computer monitor or digital screen as much as you can with monitor calibration tools.
For consistency over time, build your branding logos and corporate colors using Pantone colors:
- Be sure to choose from the correct library and select coated or uncoated to match your paper choice.
- If brand colors are derived from Pantone colors, keep them as spot colors with the standard Pantone nomenclature – do not edit their color values.
- Remember, not all Pantone colors are achievable using CMYK.
- Reference the Pantone Color Bridge book to choose a color that looks similar in both CMYK and spot colors. When they look alike, it means it’s achievable in CMYK printing.
