Rethinking what's possible with wide-format printing.

When you hear the words wide-format printing, what's the first thing that comes to mind?
For many people, it's probably a banner. And yes, banners are still incredibly useful.
But they're only the beginning. Look around almost any business, event, retail environment, sporting venue, or public space and you'll find surfaces that have the potential to communicate.
Walls.
Windows.
Floors.
Doors.
Displays.
Buildings.
Sometimes the opportunity isn't creating another piece of marketing. It's looking at the space you already have differently. Welcome to the world beyond the banner.
THINK BIGGER THAN THE BANNER.
Your next communication opportunity may already be around you.
Start With the Space, Not the Product
Once you begin looking at your physical environment as a communication channel, you start noticing opportunities everywhere.
The natural reaction might be to ask: What can we print for this space?
Instead, ask: What could this space communicate?
Once we know the purpose, we can start thinking about the possibilities.
That's where the conversation moves beyond producing a sign, banner, backdrop, or display.
The right solution starts with the right questions.
Where Will It Go?

What Does It Need to Communicate?

How Long Does It Need to Last?

What Conditions Will It Face?

How Will People Experience It?

THE RIGHT SOLUTION
Indexx is Built to Produce More In-House
Creative possibilities are only useful if you have the capabilities to bring them to life.
That's an important part of what we've continued to build at Indexx.
By investing in wide-format production technology and keeping more of the process in-house, our team has greater control over production, quality, scheduling, and the different materials we can consider for a project.
At the center of those capabilities is our EFI VUTEk M3h hybrid LED UV printer.
The word hybrid is important. The M3h allows us to print both flexible roll materials and rigid substrates on the same production platform. It can accommodate materials up to 126 inches wide and rigid media up to 2 inches thick.

Rigid + Flexible Materials | Up to 2400 DPI | CMYK + White | Produced In-House
That opens the door to applications ranging from banners and adhesive graphics to rigid signage, displays, wall and window graphics, event graphics, and other large-scale visual communications.
And because the M3h prints with UV LED technology, the ink is cured during production, helping us move projects efficiently into the next stages of finishing and installation.
When the Details Matter, Too
Wide format doesn't always mean something will be viewed from 100 feet away.
Sometimes the finished graphic is right in front of the customer. That's where image quality becomes just as important as scale.
The M3h can produce at resolutions up to 2400 dpi, allowing us to maintain detail even as projects become larger.

Why In-House Matters
Our customers don't need to know every technical specification of every piece of equipment on our production floor. But they should know what those capabilities mean for their projects.
More control.
Our team can oversee production and quality throughout more of the process.
More flexibility.
Different materials and applications give us more ways to approach a communication challenge.
More coordination.
When a project includes multiple graphics, materials, finishing steps, and installation requirements, those pieces can be planned together.
More possibilities.
Instead of beginning with a predetermined product, we can begin with the idea and determine how our capabilities can help bring it to life.
Your customer doesn't experience your business as a collection of products. They experience your brand. That's why our conversations begin with: "What are you trying to accomplish?"
