Project Spotlight: 10 Star Fitness Entrance Desk Wrap 🌟

One of our recent projects was for 10 Star Fitness at their Anderson, SC location. This project involved installing the entrance desk wrap to provide a visual impact upon entering their facility. With a focus on precision and quality, we provided file setup support and monitored our production process to ensure a seamless final installation.

Project Details

The entrance desk wrap consisted of 7 panels and 12 trim strips, printed on 3M White MATTE Scotchcal with Comply Film (IJ35C) and laminated with 3M 8510 Scotchcal Matte Calendered Overlaminate. The finished size of the wrap spanned an impressive 733.75" x 36", with each panel overlapping by 0.75" to ensure a smooth and continuous appearance.

To enhance the durability and aesthetic of the desk wrap, we made several key changes, including:

• Increasing the overlap between planes from 0.25" to 0.75".

• Adjusting the bottom edge bleed from 1" to 1.5".

• Removing testimonial graphics from the window panels and using solid images instead.

• Creating solid 10 Star blue trim strips to cover the window trim, measuring 61" x 3" and 25" x 3".

The Process

The project required collaboration between our prepress, wide format production, and installation teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency. After completing the necessary adjustments and quality checks, the installation team arrived on-site to replace the previous wrap.

Our crew carefully prepped the entrance area by cleaning off the old graphics before installing the new wrap. The new panels and trim strips were aligned precisely, using digital proofs as a guide. The installation was completed in just one day, thanks to meticulous planning and coordination!
